Respite Care

Respite Care (STA) for young adults and the elderly

Advanced Support Services Respite Care is a home away from home, for adults living with a disability to experience life in a supportive environment.

What is Respite Care?

Under the NDIS, STA is a term used to refer to what was previously called Respite Care. Both STA and Respite Care offer short-term accommodation for individuals with disabilities and their carers.

Respite care gives adults with disabilities the chance to take a break from their usual routine to explore different environments, and have some time for themselves.

Respite care also benefits family members or caregivers who may need a break or time to attend to other responsibilities.
