For many participants, catching public transport from work, scheduled appointments or simply visiting family and friends can be challenging at times. NDIS Members who find it difficult to travel independently can receive transport support.

At Advanced Support Services, our transport support includes helping members build capacity to travel unassisted. Included is training to use public transport when necessary. Ultimately, the aim is to make travelling from A-B on public transport as easy and relaxed as possible.

A member's NDIS plan may also comprise the use of taxis or other private transport choices, where a member is unable to journey independently. We can also drive you to your appointments or other places in the community and then return you safely home.
